Job Specification/Requirement

• PhD in Climatology, Atmospheric Science, Meteorology, Environmental Science, Geography, or a related field. • Several years of university teaching and research experience. • Good record of publications in reputable peer-reviewed journals. • Experience in supervising undergraduate and postgraduate students. • Evidence of contribution to academic and professional service. • Must satisfy the university's requirements for appointment as Senior Lecturer.

Skills Required/Qualification

• Strong knowledge of climate systems, atmospheric processes, climate variability, and climate change. • Competence in climate modelling, meteorological data analysis, GIS, remote sensing, and statistical analysis. • Research, academic writing, and publication skills. • Effective teaching and student supervision abilities. • Good organizational, leadership, and teamwork skills. • Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
