Job Description
A Lecturer in Architecture and Sustainable Design is responsible for teaching undergraduate and postgraduate courses, conducting research, assisting in student supervision, and contributing to curriculum development. The role also involves participating in departmental activities and supporting research and professional engagement initiatives.
Job Specification/Requirement
• Have a PhD with thesis in relevant areas of specialization from a reputable University; in addition to membership of professional bodies. • Have at least Two (2) years post-qualification teaching and research experience in an analogous institution of higher learning and have at least two (2) refereed publications in their areas of specialization. • Professional qualification and registration with a recognized architectural body is an advantage. • Demonstrated potential for research, publication, and creative design work. • Ability to assist in supervising student projects and studio work. • Good communication and interpersonal skills. • Commitment to academic and professional development.
