Job Description
The Professor of Sustainable/Renewable Energy and Resources provides academic leadership in teaching, research, and community engagement in the fields of renewable energy, sustainable resource management, energy policy, and environmental sustainability. The position involves developing innovative academic programmes, conducting high-impact research, supervising undergraduate/postgraduate students, securing research grants, and contributing to national and international efforts toward sustainable energy transitions and resource conservation.
Job Specification/Requirement
• PhD in Sustainable Energy, Renewable Energy Engineering, Energy Systems, Environmental Science, Natural Resource Management, Sustainability Studies, or a closely related field. • Rank of Professor with a substantial record of teaching, research, and academic leadership. • Significant publications in reputable peer-reviewed journals and scholarly outlets. • Demonstrated ability to attract research funding and manage research projects. • Proven experience in postgraduate supervision, including Master's and PhD candidates. • Strong record of curriculum development and programme accreditation. • Membership of relevant professional bodies and associations. • Evidence of national and international collaboration in research and consultancy. • Experience in university administration and academic leadership is desirable.
