Job Description

Teaches undergraduate and postgraduate courses in Health Information Management and related fields, conducts research, supervises student projects and theses, publishes scholarly work, and contributes to curriculum development. The Senior Lecturer supports health data systems strengthening, health informatics initiatives, and participates in departmental and university administration, while also engaging in community and professional service.

Job Specification/Requirement

• PhD in Health Information Management, Health Informatics, Public Health, Biostatistics, Medical Records, or a related field. • Several years of university teaching and research experience. • Strong record of publications in reputable peer-reviewed journals. • Experience in supervising undergraduate and postgraduate students. • Evidence of contribution to academic, professional, and health system development activities. • Must satisfy the university’s requirements for appointment as Senior Lecturer.
