Job Description

The Associate Professor of Sustainable Energy Planning and Management supports teaching, research, and community engagement activities in sustainable energy systems, energy planning, and resource management. The role involves delivering high-quality instruction, conducting impactful research, supervising students, contributing to curriculum development, and supporting institutional efforts toward sustainable energy solutions and policy development.


Job Specification/Requirement

• PhD in Sustainable Energy, Energy Planning, Energy Management, Renewable Energy, Environmental Management, Energy Economics, or a related field. • Rank of Associate Professor or eligibility for appointment at that rank. • Demonstrated record of teaching, research, and scholarly publications. • Experience in sustainable energy planning, renewable energy systems, and energy management. • Evidence of successful supervision of undergraduate and postgraduate students. • Ability to attract research funding and participate in collaborative research projects. • Experience in curriculum development and academic administration. • Membership in relevant professional bodies is an advantage.
