Job Description

Teaches undergraduate and postgraduate courses in Computer Science, develops course materials, conducts research, supervises student projects, publishes scholarly work, participates in community service, and contributes to departmental and university activities.

Job Specification/Requirement

(a) Have a PhD with thesis in relevant areas of specialization from a reputable University; in addition to membership of professional bodies. (b) Have at least Two (2) years post-qualification teaching and research experience in an analogous institution of higher learning and have at least two (2) refereed publications in their areas of specialization.

Skills Required/Qualification

• Knowledge of computer science fundamentals, programming, algorithms, data structures, databases, and software engineering. • Competence in one or more specialized areas such as artificial intelligence, cybersecurity, data science, networking, or cloud computing. • Research and academic writing skills. • Effective teaching and student mentoring abilities. • Proficiency in programming languages, software development tools, and computing technologies. • Good communication, interpersonal, and teamwork skills. • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
