Job Description
A Senior Lecturer in Environmental/Medical Microbiology is responsible for teaching undergraduate and postgraduate courses, conducting research, supervising student projects and theses, and contributing to curriculum development. The role also involves publishing research findings, participating in academic administration, and supporting community and professional engagement activities related to environmental and medical microbiology.
Job Specification/Requirement
• PhD in Environmental Microbiology, Medical Microbiology, Microbiology, Biomedical Sciences, or a related field. • Meet the requirement and experience suitable for appointment as a Senior Lecturer. • Relevant teaching and research experience at the tertiary level. • Evidence of scholarly publications in reputable journals. • Experience in supervising undergraduate and postgraduate students. • Ability to contribute to programme development and academic administration. • Participation in professional and community service activities. • Membership of relevant professional bodies is an advantage.
