Provides academic leadership in Climatology through teaching, research, postgraduate supervision, curriculum development, grant acquisition, and scholarly publication. Leads research on climate systems, climate variability and change, atmospheric processes, and climate adaptation, while mentoring junior faculty and contributing to university governance and community engagement.

Job Specification/Requirement

• PhD in Climatology, Atmospheric Science, Meteorology, Environmental Science, Geography, or a related field. • Extensive university teaching, research, and postgraduate supervision experience. • Strong record of publications in reputable peer-reviewed journals. • Demonstrated ability to attract research funding and lead multidisciplinary research projects. • Evidence of academic leadership and contribution to institutional administration. • Must satisfy the university's requirements for appointment as Professor.
