Job Description
The Lecturer in Sustainable Energy Planning and Management is responsible for teaching undergraduate and postgraduate courses, facilitating practical and field-based learning, and supporting research activities in sustainable energy planning, renewable energy systems, and energy management. The role involves preparing and delivering lectures, assessing student performance, supervising student projects, contributing to curriculum implementation, and participating in departmental and university service activities.
Job Specification/Requirement
• Have a PhD with thesis in relevant areas of specialization from a reputable University; in addition to membership of professional bodies. • Have at least Two (2) years post-qualification teaching and research experience in an analogous institution of higher learning and have at least two (2) refereed publications in their areas of specialization. • Demonstrated ability to conduct independent and collaborative research. • Record of publications or potential for scholarly publication in reputable journals. • Ability to supervise undergraduate projects and support postgraduate research. • Knowledge of current trends and developments in sustainable energy planning and management.
