Job Description
The Lecturer in Sustainability and Development Studies is responsible for teaching undergraduate and postgraduate courses, conducting research, supervising student projects, and contributing to curriculum development. The role involves preparing and delivering lectures, assessing students, engaging in scholarly activities, participating in community outreach programmes, and supporting departmental and university initiatives. The Lecturer is expected to contribute to the advancement of knowledge in sustainability and development through research, publication, and service.
Job Specification/Requirement
• Have a PhD with thesis in relevant areas of specialization from a reputable University, in addition to membership of professional bodies. • Have at least two (2) years post-qualification teaching and • Evidence of research potential and scholarly publications in reputable journals. • Demonstrated competence in teaching and student assessment. • Ability to supervise undergraduate research projects and assist with postgraduate supervision
