Job Description
The Senior Lecturer in Sustainable Energy Planning and Management is responsible for teaching, research, and community service in the areas of sustainable energy systems, energy planning, energy policy, and resource management. The role involves delivering high-quality instruction, conducting applied and scholarly research, supervising students, contributing to curriculum development, and supporting initiatives that promote sustainable energy development and environmental sustainability.
Job Specification/Requirement
• PhD in Sustainable Energy, Energy Planning, Energy Management, Renewable Energy, Environmental Management, Energy Economics, or a related field. • Rank of Senior Lecturer or eligibility for appointment at that rank. • Demonstrated experience in university teaching and research. • Good record of publications in reputable peer-reviewed journals. • Experience in supervising undergraduate and postgraduate research projects. • Evidence of participation in research, consultancy, or community engagement activities. • Ability to contribute to curriculum development and academic programme management. • Membership in relevant professional bodies is desirable.
