Job Description
A Senior Lecturer in Plant Tissue Culture and Transformation is responsible for teaching, research, and supervision in plant biotechnology with emphasis on in vitro plant regeneration and genetic transformation techniques. The role contributes to curriculum development, student mentoring, and advancement of plant biotechnology research addressing agriculture, crop improvement, and biotechnology innovation.
Job Specification/Requirement
• PhD in Plant Biotechnology, Plant Science, Genetics, or related field • Strong background in plant tissue culture and genetic transformation systems • Evidence of teaching experience at the tertiary level • Active research record with publications in peer-reviewed journals • Experience in grant writing and research project management • Ability to supervise undergraduate and postgraduate students • Participation in departmental and institutional academic service
Skills Required/Qualification
